My role with Monily-  Non- Exec Chair

Monily is one of the Europes first ‘Tap-on-Phone’ payments providers, also known as a ‘Soft Point of Sale’ (SoftPOS).  They came together with the idea of making receipts and payments, simple and affordable. In doing this we aim to give every SME merchant the ability to take payments without the cost burden of traditional payments and saving a few trees by stopping receipts.

Monily makes payments simple for SME merchants by removing the hardware and providing payment options via their smartphones. Traditionally, merchants have relied on costly, unreliable hardware that seldom integrated with their accounting systems.

Using the smartphone, we have developed a range of payments options that make it simple to transact, via; NFC, QR code, Reader or just tapping on the merchant’s smartphone (coming soon). This flexibility increases transaction volumes, optimises the customer experience and frees staff.
